About Takshashila: Also known as TAKSHASHILA, Often regarded as the first university in the world, Takshashila was a hub of learning in subjects like medicine, law, military science, and philosophy. Scholars like Chanakya (Kautilya) and Panini taught here.
Why Yellow? Yellow stands for wisdom, clarity, and learning. It evokes the brightness of intellect and the light of knowledge, which Takshashila symbolized for ancient India.

Why Green? Green symbolizes growth, harmony, and renewal. Nalanda was a place of flourishing ideas and cross-cultural exchange-an intellectual garden of knowledge.
Each House is under the charge of a Housemaster/mistress who, besides being a teacher and a guardian, is a link among all pupils of his/her House. On him/her rests the decision on when and where to strike a balance between curricular and co-curricular activities of an individual pupil.
He or She also ensures that pupils identify themselves completely with their respective Houses.
